Knockroe Middle holds a children's burial ground on a sun-warmed terrace, its shallow stone wall enclosing barely twelve metres of pasture. Local tradition calls it a cillíneach, a place set apart for the smallest lives. The wall stands low enough for a child to climb yet tall enough to mark the boundary between the living field and the dead.

In pasture, on a terrace on a S-facing slope. A roughly rectangular area (11.8m N-S; 8m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.75m) on its E, S and the E part of its N sides and unenclosed elsewhere.
