What is recorded here

Carrowntryla holds a children's burial ground hidden inside a ringfort, now thickly planted and free of visible marks. The loss is sudden and the place is small, suggesting a village struck by fever or birth danger rather than a long ceremonial tradition. Forgetting is likely, since children were numerous and grief moved quickly. The plants still cover the event, not the meaning.

Within a ringfort (GA017-050----). According to Neary (1914, 116, no. 88), this ringfort 'was formerly used as a burial ground, and is now thickly planted'. No visible surface trace survives.
