Charming Nancy

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Charming Nancy as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The *Charming Nancy* was a 17th-century English merchant ship that sank in 1635 near Lundy Island, England, after striking a reef. The wreck resulted in the loss of all 14 crew members and a cargo of wine and textiles; it is significant as one of the best-preserved 17th-century wrecks in the UK and a key site for maritime archaeological study.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
