This green commemorative plaque records: Church Of The Holy Trinity. Designed by John Hope. Consecrated 1794 by the Rt Rev'd William Cleaver, Bishop of Chester. Altered and extended 1911 by Sir Charles Reilly. Recorded plaque organisation: Wavertree Society.
John Hope was a Scottish architect known for his work on ecclesiastical buildings; William Cleaver served as the Bishop of Chester during a period of significant church construction and expansion; Charles Herbert Reilly, later Sir Charles, was an English architect who made notable alterations to many historic buildings, preserving architectural heritage while adapting them to modern needs.
