Chapel of Inchgall

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Chapel of Inchgall as Chapel (16th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The Chapel of Inchgall is associated with Saint Fillan, a 7th-century Irish monk and healer, and is linked to traditions of water-based healing rituals. The nearby Inchgall Well, once known for its curative properties, was believed to offer cures for ailments such as skin diseases and lameness.
