What is recorded here
Ulster History Circle recorded the birthplace of Chaim Herzog, President of Israel from 1983 to 1993. The small blue plaque at 2 Norman Villas in County Antrim insists that one of the world’s most visible political lives began inside an ordinary house. Herzog left Ireland, became Israeli president and died in 1997, but the plaque keeps his origin visible on a local street.
