Chacabuco

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Chacabuco as Wreck from the Ôl-ganoloesol period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The Chacabuco was a 19th-century merchant vessel wrecked off the coast of Wales during a storm in 1851. Little is known about the exact circumstances of its loss, but it is believed that all crew members perished, and the wreck holds historical significance as part of Wales' maritime heritage.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
