What is recorded here

Four caves in County Antrim held Bronze Age lives, though the exact years and the names of the people have faded. They may have sheltered herds, hidden harvests or simply given weary bodies a dry roof when Atlantic rain hammered the land. The stones remain closed to most viewers, but the chambers still imagine the breath of those who first trusted them.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CAVES (4) - BRONZE AGE OCCUPATION. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN; BRONZE AGE; MODERN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
