Cave

In the W half of a rath (SL025-095001-). A stone-lined lintelled opening (Wth 0.7m; H 0.55m), at the base of the external slope of the bank at WNW, reveals a stone-lined lintelled passage extending through the bank in a SE direction and into the interior of a hut site (SL025-095003-). A second opening, partially blocked by a collapsed lintel, is evident in the internal face of the enclosing bank of the hut site at SW. A depression (Wth 2.5m) which follows the internal face of the bank of the hut site SW-NE may be a collapsed Man-made underground passage chamber.
