This red commemorative plaque records: 21st September 1909 Catholic Social Guild was founded at Ingham's Hotel, which stood on this site. Decisions led to the foundation of the Catholic Workers College, Oxford, later re-named Plater College. Recorded plaque organisation: Manchester City Council.
