What is recorded here

On NW-facing slope of a low ridge surrounded by rock outcrop. Circular cashel (D 45m) defined by a low grassed-over drystone wall, no visible surface trace of which survives from SSW to WSW. An extensive field system (GA057-067002-) lies c. 200m to SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
