Castleward is a 17th-century boundary stone in Angus, Scotland, marked at coordinates accurate to one metre. It stood as a legal line between lands, perhaps drawing arguments or quiet acceptance from neighbours who walked past it daily. The stone itself no longer proves ownership, but it still marks the exact moment human agreement became visible in rock.
