King Edward Castle stands nearby, yet Castleton Farm gave up no bones, pots or marks when turbine holes cut through its soil in 2012. The land kept its quiet despite the castle's shadow and the new steel towers rising above it. What was hidden there may have been ordinary farm life, not grand history, reminding us that absence of proof is not proof of emptiness.
