Castlemartin 1 is an Early Medieval cross incised stone inside St Michael and All Angels' Church, Pembrokeshire. A chisel cut through solid rock, perhaps marking a burial or a prayer before the church took its current shape. The stone still stands where human hands placed it, waiting for someone to read the lines without explanation.
