Castlelaw, the Mount stands in the Scottish Borders as an unassigned stone marker, perhaps a boundary or a warning forgotten by time. Its exact purpose has slipped from human memory, leaving only the mountain and the name behind. The law may have belonged to a kingdom that no longer exists, yet the mount still casts its shadow across the valley.
