Castlelaw is a twentieth-century boundary stone set in Midlothian, marking the edge of the Castlelaw and Dreghorn Training Area. It stands beside older fort remains and live firing ranges, where military use has shaped the land for generations. The stone is small, but it draws a sharp line between public memory and restricted ground, reminding visitors that even ordinary markers can control access to history.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castlelaw as Boundary Stone (20th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
