Castlehill Junction, Signal Box stood at the heart of a busy railway network, guiding trains through North Lanarkshire from the nineteenth century into the twentieth. Its small frame held immense power, deciding which line moved and which waited. The junction likely echoed with wheels, levers and voices, while the operator watched sparks fly past the glass.
