What is recorded here

Castlehill House stands beside Culloden Road in Inverness, its oldest chambers probably built in the late 18th or early 19th century. It overlooks a place where Neolithic fires still warm the soil and a traditional grant from Kenneth I to the Cuthbert family stretches back to the 950s. The house has outlived empires, maps and memory, keeping a quiet watch above the valley while the town rearranges itself around it.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castlehill as House (post Medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
