What is recorded here

Castlebrae is a working farmstead in Marnoch, Aberdeenshire, where a C-shaped steading and horsemill appeared on the first Ordnance Survey maps. The west wing once held a mill driven by horse power, while the open court faced south toward the living land. The buildings have changed since that Post Medieval shape, but the mill platform still lies buried beneath the roofed farm.
