Castle View stands in Aberdeenshire as a post-medieval farmstead, its stone walls holding the shape of hands that broke soil and carried water long before memory faded. The name promises a castle, yet no castle remains, only the suggestion that distance and elevation once belonged to someone who watched the horizon for weather, ships, or return.
