Castle, unclassified in Pallas Big,pallas Little stands in County Laois, Ireland. Local tradition claims a castle once occupied Pallis, and a 1563 map of Leix and Offaly still depicts it. The stones may have crumbled, sunk, or been swallowed by fields, but the warning remained visible long after the building vanished.
