Castle, unclassified in Levally East stands on a rise above boggy terrain, though no wall or trench remains visible. Local information says its stones were dismantled in the 19th century and carried to Barnaderg for a chapel and barracks. What looked like loss may have been transformation: the castle stopped being a castle and became rooms where neighbours prayed, kept guards or shared heat. The valley did not forget the shape of the place, only the name of the thing that shape had worn.

On a rise defending a shallow valley, in pastureland overlooking boggy terrain to S. According to local information, a castle which stood here was dismantled in the 19th C. Material from it was used to build the nearby chapel and barracks in Barnaderg village. No visible surface trace survives.
