Kilmurry holds an unclassified castle in County Kilkenny, but human memory has not yet decided whether it is a wall, a hole or a shadow. That uncertainty does not diminish it; it refuses to be owned by a single story. Go there after rain, when the land gives up its shape, and listen for the part the ledger forgot.
