What is recorded here
An unnamed castle in County Kilkenny has never been described, but that absence is not emptiness. It may have been a tower house, a boundary marker, a forgotten residence or a military post. People may have built it, defended it, lived inside it and stopped mentioning it. The missing description does not remove the castle; it withholds one layer of the story.
