What is recorded here
Ballyknock holds an unclassified castle in County Kilkenny, but no public detail explains whether it is a hall, fortress or ruined yard. The name suggests a defensive building, yet the absence of description keeps the place half-hidden. Perhaps a family lived there, claimed land or fled violence, while the stones waited for someone to remember them.
