Castle Street Nos 7 and 9 in Conwy were a Post Medieval shop, the kind of narrow frontage where local life still moves through brass handles and heavy doors. They stand beside the castle shadow, small enough to hide a whole neighbourhood's habits inside. Perhaps they sold salt, rope, ribbon or something never written down. The numbers remain ordinary, but the weeks spent inside them were not.
