What is recorded here

Castle Street No 1 in Conwy is an 18th-century house still standing beside the old town's edge. It may have hosted merchants, soldiers or officials when the castle shadow fell across the street. Its rooms no longer answer to a known name, but they kept the shape of human life: heat, argument, laughter, work and silence.
The National Monuments Record of Wales records Castle Street No 1 as House from the 18th Century period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
