North of Llanglydwen, a medieval castle rose and vanished, leaving only a hidden scar in the Carmarthenshire earth. It may have watched the valley, stored grain, or bled during border wars, yet no tower remains to prove which. The land keeps the shape of that forgotten purpose, waiting for boots to press the grass and remember the weight of stone.
