What is recorded here

Castle Mains Stables stood in South Lanarkshire during the 19th Century, providing shelter and structure for the horses that sustained the estate. The exact position remains known, but the stable doors may have closed long before modern memory reached them. There is no warning in the stones, only the absent breath of horses and the vanished hands that fed them.
