Boundary wall to Castle Leslie demesne, built c.1800, of mainly snecked roughly squared random rubble limestone with simple copings. In vicinity of entrance gateways walling is of higher standard. At Gothic Lodge it is of ashlar limestone with moulded plinths and copings. At main entrance in Glaslough it is of hammer-dressed snecked limestone with chamfered copings. Walls up to 3 metres in height in parts.

The extensive Leslie estate at Glaslough is bounded by a typical stone-built demesne wall. The workmanship and detailing is finer in the vicinity of the entrances, as one would expect. The various decorative entrance gateways, and items of street furniture, such as small fountains, and the elaborate Leslie monument, greatly enhance the boundary.
