Castle Knowe Motte, Leuchars

That tiny disc turns a mundane room into a working house, suggesting someone sat near the knowe, twisting fibre into something that could bind or build. The mound may have watched that labour for generations, steady above the Fife fields while hands moved in darkness or rain.
