The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Royal Air Force and British military engineers fought to establish and operate the Castle Kennedy Airfield during World War II (c. 1940–1945). The airfield became a strategic asset, supporting Allied air operations in western Scotland and contributing to the broader defense of the British Isles.
