Castle Hotel stands on the buried bones of Saint Thomas’ Church, where old yew trees and leaden coffin fragments still whisper beneath the floorboards. Benjamin Davies hosted mayors and travellers through the nineteenth century, but the building never stopped swallowing history. Every guest sleeps above forgotten churchyards, dreaming in shadows that predate the hotel itself.
