Castle Hill in Llanilar, Ceredigion, is a Post Medieval dwelling, a human anchor on the hillside after the grand castles fell out of fashion. It may have been a farmhouse, a watch house or a stubborn refusal to leave the high ground. The stone still stands where it was set, holding the shape of hands that stopped being children long before cars or electricity.
