Castle Hill, Horsburgh Castle Farm is a palisaded settlement in the Scottish Borders where a wooden fence once cut through the grass to keep out danger or mark ownership. The exact age remains unknown, but the shape is clear: people built a boundary strong enough to survive judgment and imagination. They may have watched the valley, stored grain, or simply refused to leave the hill unmarked. The fence is gone, yet the hill still holds the line where human pride first drew itself against the dark.
