Castle Hill earthwork is a roughly square bank and ditch on the Isle of Wight, likely an Iron Age defended settlement overlooking the sea and downs. It measures about sixty by fifty-five metres, with a broad outer bank and inner ditch forming a compact refuge above the coastal plain. The clear-felled hilltop now exposes the earthwork instead of hiding it beneath trees, making the ancient shape easier to see and remember.
