What is recorded here

Castle Haven is a medieval dun in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It stands as a ruined marker of border defence, likely watching the coast or guiding travellers through uncertain ground. The stones may have belonged to a small garrison, a local lord or a passing army, but no surviving account names them. What remains is a place where human urgency was built into the landscape and then abandoned to weather and forgetting.
