Castle Grant, Home Farm, Courtyard Range, North Range stands in the Highland as a 19th Century bothy, larder, shed and stable. The north range may have held horses or tools while the courtyard caught rain and shadow. A person could have lived beside those rooms, listening for hooves or waiting for weather to pass. The buildings still belong to the land, even when no longer open to visitors.
