Castle Gogar Rigg is a 16th-century culvert, ditch and wall in the City of Edinburgh, Scotland. Stone channels and earthworks still mark the rigg, shaping rain, boundary and memory long after the hands that built them disappeared. The water may have flowed for mills, homes or roads now lost, while the ditch and wall kept the land orderly under ordinary sky.
