Castle Flemish is a Roman villa in Pembrokeshire where a low bank still encloses an eighty-metre square of forgotten domestic life. Mortimer Wheeler excavated brick, flue tiles and ceramics there in 1922, revealing a bathhouse and living area from the late first century rather than a military fort. The name may preserve a Flemish settlement, while Ad Vigessimum remains a spurious attachment. A public road now cuts through the middle, dividing the household from itself.
