Castle Cove, St Mawes is a castle, fort or tower in Cornwall, England. Perhaps the cove itself is the castle, a bowl of blue water where forgotten ships dropped anchor and men watched the horizon for danger. Maybe the tower vanished beneath the tide while the cove remained, keeping its shape but losing its stones. Imagine standing at the water's edge, listening for a guardrail that no longer exists.
