What is recorded here

Castle Caereinion Station served the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway during the twentieth century, carrying people and goods through Powys. The line connected small towns and gave the railway a practical reason to exist. Whether the station building still stands or only its memory remains, the track bed and local stories preserve the shape of that working world.
