Castle Bay in Dumfries and Galloway is an axe hammer, a heavy striking tool rather than a grand building. It may have struck metal, shaped timber or tested the strength of the bay itself. The chamber holds a weapon for making, not a knife for killing. Creation still needs force, and the bay keeps that permission intact.
