Castle Bank stood on Mount Pleasant as a hotel during the Post Medieval period, offering rooms and kitchens to travellers moving through Conwy. It is easy to imagine carts stopping outside while tired people drank warm food and listened to rain strike the windows. The building may have hosted merchants, soldiers or families escaping distance, all needing a bed before the road continued.
