Castell-Du ;Sennybridge Castle;Castell Rhyd-y-Briw is a ruined castle from the Post Medieval; Medieval period in Powys, Wales. Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, Prince of Wales built it near Brecon. Edward I of England likely captured it during the war of 1276–77, ending its active life. The black castle still stands in memory, marked by a D-shaped tower and hidden beneath later wartime structures.
