Deudraeth Castle stands in Gwynedd as an eighteen century stone witness, its boundary still drawn in the national record though no gate remains to test it. The stones may have marked a household, a boundary or a forgotten claim, but time has stripped the purpose from the shape. What is left is a place that remembers being owned, waiting for someone to ask what it owned back.
