Carvichen is a possible medieval castle in Aberdeenshire, recorded only as an alleged site rather than a proven building. The New Statistical Account of 1845 claimed a strong house once stood there with foundation remains still visible, but a 1961 visit found no castle remains and the occupier knew nothing about one. The name may preserve a lost fort, a farmer's memory, or an account writer's invention; the land itself no longer confirms which.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Carvichen as Castle (medieval)(possible). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
