Carriside

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Carriside as Chambered Cairn (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Carriside is a Neolithic chambered cairn, dating to approximately 3500–2500 BCE. Such tombs are significant as early communal burial sites, reflecting complex social structures and ritual practices in prehistoric Scotland.
