What is recorded here

Carncastle Historic Settlement in Ballygalley belongs to the post-medieval and eighteenth or nineteenth century, when ordinary life clustered around stone, soil and repeated labour. Its buildings may have stood close together, forcing neighbours to share noise, smoke and danger. That proximity turned a small place into a castle of human memory, strong enough to resist forgetting long after every wooden beam rotted and every stone surrendered its shape.
