Fifty-seven metres of carved stone stretch across rough pasture in County Mayo, marked at the base by twenty-one boulders. People dug through the ancient structure and likely carried its stones away to build the surrounding field fence. The cairn still stands nine metres high, holding its shape despite human hunger for building material.

Neolithic passage tomb; dates to the earlier part of the Neolithic period in Ireland (c. 3500–2500 BCE). Its large size and formal construction suggest it was a significant communal burial and ceremonial site.
